GP Surgeries With Overdue CQC Inspections
CQC typically inspects GP practices every two to three years. The practices below have not been inspected in over three years. Their published ratings may not reflect current performance.
4,823 practices nationally have an inspection more than 3 years old.
Why This Matters
CQC inspection ratings are awarded at the time of inspection. A GP surgery rated Good five years ago may have since improved to Outstanding — or declined to Requires Improvement. Practices that have not been inspected for over three years operate under less scrutiny than those recently reviewed.
This data is unique to this site. The CQC does not publish a dedicated list of overdue inspections. If you are concerned about a practice's current standards, you can report concerns directly to the CQC via cqc.org.uk.
