Why Does Inspection Frequency Matter?

The CQC aims to re-inspect GP practices every two to three years, or sooner if concerns are raised. A practice that has not been inspected for more than three years may have changed — for better or worse — since its last rating was awarded. If you are choosing a new GP surgery or are concerned about your current practice, a recent inspection date is one indicator of continued regulatory oversight.
