1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using GP CQC Ratings (gpcqcratings.co.uk), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

2. Nature of This Site

GP CQC Ratings is an independent informational website. It republishes and presents data sourced from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) — the independent regulator of health and social care in England — along with original commentary and analysis.

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Care Quality Commission. The CQC is not responsible for the way in which its data is presented, analysed, or interpreted on this site.

3. Not Medical Advice

Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice. CQC ratings reflect the findings of CQC inspections at the time they were conducted and do not represent a clinical assessment of any GP surgery, individual clinician, or the care you may receive there.

Do not use information on this site to make clinical decisions. If you have concerns about your health or the care you are receiving, speak directly with a healthcare professional or contact NHS 111.

4. Data Accuracy and Currency

CQC inspection ratings are updated periodically. While we endeavour to keep the data on this site as current as reasonably practicable, we cannot guarantee that every rating is up to date at the time you view it. In particular:

  • Ratings may have changed since our dataset was last refreshed.
  • Practices with ratings that are more than two to three years old may have changed significantly since their last inspection.
  • New GP practices may not yet appear in our dataset.
  • Practice addresses, phone numbers, and websites may have changed.

For the most current and authoritative rating information, always refer directly to the CQC website at cqc.org.uk.

5. CQC Data Licence

The ratings and location data displayed on this site is sourced from the Care Quality Commission and is published under the Open Government Licence v3.0 (OGL) . Under the OGL, this data may be used, adapted, and distributed freely provided attribution is given to the CQC as the data source.

The CQC does not hold responsibility for any analysis, interpretation, or presentation of data derived from its published datasets. The CQC should not be quoted as the source of any analysis or interpretation produced by this site.

6. Intellectual Property

All original content, design, and code on this site (excluding CQC-sourced data) is the intellectual property of GP CQC Ratings and may not be reproduced without permission. The CQC brand, logo, and trademarks belong to the Care Quality Commission and are not used on this site.
